Fish fish fish!

My new obsession lately has been to paint fish, so I thought I'd share with ya'll some of the paintings I've done recently. It's been fun experimenting and finding new techniques to paint these fish, I'll post process pics of each individual fish in later posts =)

Watercolor Trout - Hipster Art

I wanted start a series of paintings that were pretty much monochromatic and hunting related, so first up was this trout! I love using color so even though this turquoise color is so gorgeous and vibrant, I missed using OTHER colors and couldn't help but add on the tiniest touch of pink to it's body. I really liked how this turned out overall since I've never painted a fish before.
